Privacy policy
Short version: the only personal information we collect on this site is what you type into the contact form, plus anonymous analytics. We use it to answer you. We don't sell it, and we'll delete it if you ask.

This policy describes the website. It is not the confidentiality agreement covering a project — that lives in the engagement documents, and jobsite imagery captured under a contract is governed there, not here.
Who we are
Project Kinetic LLC, operating as Kinetic Systems, a Texas limited liability company providing construction documentation services in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You can reach us at info@projectkinetic.io or 469-525-0430.
What we collect, and only what we collect
Information you send us through the contact form. Your name, company, work email, and — if you choose to give it — a phone number. You can also attach a project schedule and add free-text notes. Name, company and email are required because we can't answer you without them. Everything else is optional and the form says so.
Files you upload. If you attach a schedule, we receive that file. It goes to our inbox or our intake system and nowhere else. We use it to mark up your schedule and answer your enquiry. We do not add it to a mailing list, share it with a partner firm, or use it to build any kind of dataset. Attachments are capped at 8 MB and limited to schedule and document formats.
Analytics. If analytics is enabled on this deployment, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages people read. IP addresses are anonymised, advertising and personalisation storage are switched off by default, and we do not run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. We do not attempt to identify you from analytics data, and we do not combine it with anything you send through the form.
Server logs.Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses and are retained for a short period for security and debugging. We don't mine them.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information. We never have and we don't have a mechanism to.
- We don't share your schedule, drawings, or project details with partner firms unless you've asked us to scope work that requires one, and we'll tell you first.
- We don't run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
- We don't use your information to train any machine-learning model.
- We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a commercial construction site in every sense.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies to distinguish one visit from another. You can block them in your browser and the site will work normally — nothing here depends on a cookie.
Who else touches it
We keep the list of third parties as short as it can reasonably be:
- Our hosting provider, which serves this site and processes the form submission in transit.
- Our email or intake provider, which delivers your submission to us.
- Google Analytics, if analytics is enabled, for anonymous usage measurement only.
Each one is a processor acting on our instructions. None of them receives your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and any attached schedule are kept for as long as we're in a conversation with you, and for up to two years afterwards so that we can pick the thread back up if you return. If you become a client, project records are governed by the engagement documents instead, which typically retain the record for the life of your exposure on the project. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention.
Your choices
Email us and we will act on it — you do not need to invoke a statute or fill in a portal. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. We will respond within 45 days, which is the Texas standard, and usually much sooner because we are a small company and there is not much to look through.
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights. We apply the same process to everyone regardless of where you live, because running two processes would mean running one of them badly.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Attachments are size- and type-limited before they are accepted. We restrict access to enquiries to the people who need to answer them. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than claim otherwise.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we change this page and update the date at the top. Material changes get called out here rather than slipped in.
A note on this document. It was written to describe accurately what this website does, and it is accurate as of the date above. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before Kinetic markets to jurisdictions with stricter regimes, or begins processing anything beyond what is described here, it should be.
